Tommy is a photographer based in Dallas, TX. He's been doing photography for the last 15 years, 7 of them professionally. He's worked in sports, corporate, architectural, landscape, and portrait photography. Currently, he works as the Director of Videography for a company based in Salt Lake City.

We’ll use some of the murals in Bishop Arts as well as the architecture and landscaping to create unique back drops for our portraits.

Portraiture Lighting Photography Workshop - Old East Dallas - 11am - 2 hours
Hey Guys,

In this lesson we will explore different 3 point studio lighting setups. Well learn Rembrandt Lighting, Loop Lighting, Butterfly Lighting, and Split Lighting. We'll shoot in-studio with professional lighting equipment. This is going to be a technical lesson so please only sign up if you are comfortable with your cameras manual settings. This is going to be a lighting lesson, not a "how to use your camera" lesson.

In addition to learning these different styles of lighting, we will discuss the difference between broad and short light, hard and soft light, and how to use lighting to create more cinematic, professional images. Thanks and hope to see you there!
